Jan Dlugosz University in Czestochowa (JDU) is a dynamic public university with over five decades of academic tradition. It is one of the largest public universities in the region, with highly qualified scientific and didactic academics.

Presently, JDU comprises faculties: Faculty of Humanities, Faculty of Science and Technology, Faculty of Social Sciences, Faculty of Art, Faculty of Law & Economics and Wladyslaw Biegański Collegium Medicum, Doctoral School and Physical Education and Sport Centre. JDU has educated students and doctoral candidates in over 60 fields of bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral studies. JDU is entitled to grant doctorate degrees in philosophy, history, linguistics, literary studies, chemical sciences, physical sciences, security sciences, physical culture sciences, legal sciences, health sciences, pedagogy, musical arts and fine arts and art restoration. The university is certified to grant postdoctoral degree in the above-mentioned fields.

JDU is a dynamically developing academic institution, engaged in partnerships with research centres worldwide. Its initiatives focus on expanding scientific and research capabilities, enhancing modern teaching facilities, exploring innovative research domains, and participating in international projects.

The university provides students and faculty with state-of-the-art infrastructure, including multimedia lecture halls, a modern sports complex, language labs, and even a planetarium.
